The Yarian family has been rooted in the restaurant industry for generations. Jennifer Yarian and the late Manok Yarian opened their first restaurant, Corey’s in Dedham, MA before expanding to Walpole in 1985, where they opened Beacons at 85 Providence Highway. After years of renting the space to others, the Yarians were thrown a curveball-but saw it as an opportunity. Why not reopen the restaurant under the original name and bring back the spirit of Beacons?
In 2019, the Yarians did just that-reopening Beacons with a modern twist and the next generation at the helm. Jennifer and her sons now lead the way, honoring the past while welcoming guests into a refreshed space that feels both classic and current. With a spacious bar, comfortable patio, multiple function rooms, and delicious American fare, Beacons is one again a place to gather.
In 2024, the Yarians extended their legacy by purchasing another beloved local spot: Eaglebrook Salon in Norfolk, MA. Honoring its roots, they’ve kept the staff, community feel, and fan favorites-like the famous blueberry beer and bar pie (which recently earned a 7.9 from Dave Portnoy). From one family to another, the spirit of Eaglebrook lives on.
